The management regulation for passenger vehicle corporate average fuel consumption (CAFC) and NEV credits was finally issued in September 2017. Along with the implementations of the regulation and the large amount of NEV investment projects as well as the emerging of shared mobility, highly-efficient ICE vehicle, hybrid and NEV models would swarm into market during the dual-credits window period from 2018 through 2020. Continuously upgrading technologies and user experience and lowering costs are the keys to stand firm in the fierce competition, in which transmissions and electrified drives would continue to play central roles.
Under such background, we are ushering in the 10th anniversary of our TMC event. The 10th TM Symposium China (TMC2018) will be held on April 26-27, 2018 in Beijing during Beijing auto show. Important technology aspects of transmission and electrified drive will be covered:
◆ Legislation and market environment changing and its implications
◆ HEV/PHEV/EV market prospect worldwide and in China
◆ Transmission technology innovations and new transmission concepts
◆ 48V/HEV/PHEV transmission and drive concepts and modularity strategies
◆ BEV transmission and drive innovations (singe- and multi-speeds)
◆ Four-wheel drive systems and its electrification
◆ Component, lubricant, material, lightweight and processing technologies
◆ Development, testing and validation technologies and tools
◆ Transmission technologies for ADAS, autonomous and connected driving
◆ Engine modification for hybrid, e-motors and dedicated battery for hybrid
About 50 presentations, 60 exhibitors and 700 participants are expected for TMC2018. The 10th anniversary of the event will be celebrated and more industry leaders will be invited.
TMC is the biggest event for sharing and connection in transmission and drive areas in China. You would be able to learn about the latest trends, strategies and market requirements, and meet many of your customers and peers at the event.
